Salt Lake City, Utah – Wednesday as part of our series on the future of journalism, Doug sits down with Martin Tolchin. Tolchin is a founder of Politico, a news outlet best known for its constantly updated on-line edition. In a time when many news organizations were cutting back, Politico took the opposite tack, investing in their product and hiring veteran reporters away from The Washington Post and Time magazine. Tolchin joins us to talk about their model and about whether that investment is paying off.
