Salt Lake City, UT – Author and filmmaker Dan Austin packed some peanut butter, a basketball and hopped on a bike to travel across the country. His goal was to present the ball, autographed by all the people he and his two companions met along the way, to the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. It was a great excuse for a roadtrip and pickup games, and an even better excuse to encounter the grassroots goodness of America.

The work took fourteen years to complete the largest recording project ever undertaken by a solo musician. By a 90 to 9 vote, the US Senate passed Arizona Republican John McCain's ban on torture; President Bush has threatened to veto the defense spending bill which contains the amendment. How far should the government go to protect the welfare of its citizens, and is torture ever an effective and justifiable course of action?
