Event Description

наслажда́ться [experience the strongest of pleasures] with an evening of passionate Slavic music. Russian composers produced a distinctive, recognizable, national style all their own. Tonight you will experience this passion and voice from one of the greatest composers to come out of Russia. The centerpiece of the concert is one of the finest masterpieces, Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5. We're also thrilled to welcome soloist Blanka Bednarz playing Szymanowski's Violin Concerto with us.
